FIRA is the first Croatian application that provides users with insight into the balance and transactions of their bank accounts. This way, you can have all your finances in one place.
What connecting a bank account enables:
- Account consolidation: Regardless of whether you have one or multiple accounts in the same or different banks, FIRA consolidates them all under one roof and displays the balance and transactions of all bank accounts.
- Tracking invoice payments: FIRA automates the reconciliation process, easily linking issued invoices with received payments on your bank accounts in real time and notifying you when an invoice is paid.
- Collaboration and information sharing: With FIRA, you can grant secure access to trusted persons, such as external accountants, allowing them insight into your financial transactions and account balances without delay.
FIRA displays the balance and transactions of bank accounts or payment services such as PayPal.
FIRA compares your issued invoices with the transactions on your bank accounts and thus recognizes the payment status of your invoices.
Currently, it is not possible to execute a payment order via FIRA.
If you want to give someone insight into the account balance and transactions, you can add them as a user in FIRA and they will see everything just like you – which is easier and faster than granting a power of attorney through the bank.
Banking data is visible exclusively to you.
In order for FIRA to be functional, bank account information is updated four times a day
and stored on the FIRA application cloud servers.
We provide this service in cooperation with our partner
GoCardless,
which is licensed by the French National Bank - ACPR (Autorité de Contrôle Prudentiel et de Résolution).

When you connect your account, you authorize the data transfer for the next 180 days, as this is defined by law.
After the 180 days expire, a re-authorization is required (the same process as when connecting the account for the first time).

Yes, if you connect your bank account or enter your IBAN, it will be automatically included along with all other necessary information in the QR code.
Yes, FIRA supports the calculation of foreign currencies and automatically fetches the middle exchange rate from the official exchange rate list of the European Central Bank (= ECB exchange rate list).
FIRA uses the following rules to convert foreign currency into EUR:
- Issuing invoices: the exchange rate valid on the date of invoice issuance is applied.
- Current invoice value: the dashboard always displays the invoice value in EUR according to the current exchange rate, until the invoice is paid. Once the payment date is entered, the exchange rate from that date is used.
- After payment: the exchange rate on the payment date is saved and used in reports (e.g., KPR, PO-SD).
In the Excel sheet for issued invoices, both exchange rates are displayed: the rate on the date of invoice issuance and the rate on the payment date, allowing for a transparent and precise calculation of foreign currencies into EUR.
You can save the invoice as a .pdf file, print it, or send it to the client via email directly from the application.
If you want to send the invoice by mail:
- Use the first template and your customer's address will be visible in an envelope with a left window.
There is also an option for sending the invoice as an e-Invoice (eRačun - for Croatia only).
In addition to the mandatory data required to create an invoice (e.g., date, invoice number, etc.),
it is necessary in some cases to enter additional information.
We highly recommend that you consult your accountant / accounting service regarding this matter.
Yes, you can edit a standard invoice you created if necessary and send it to the customer again. This does not apply to fiscalized invoices and e-Invoices – those must be canceled.
A standard invoice can be reopened for editing, and the delete option can be found under the small cog icon "Invoice Settings".
If you change the status of an issued invoice to "Canceled" , FIRA will ask if you want to create a cancellation invoice immediately.
FIRA automatically copies all the information from the invoice you want to cancel and prepares the cancellation invoice for you!
The cancellation invoice receives a new sequential number in the invoice series.
Find out all the options for creating a Cancellation invoice in the video:
Video - FIRA Cancellation invoice
There is no limit for issued invoices or for the records of received invoices (expenses).
Yes, you can.
In FIRA, we have separated the invoice number sequences for transaction accounts and for fiscal invoices (Croatia only) and we highly recommend keeping these two sequences separate if you issue both types of invoices.
Example:
For transaction invoices: RB-1-1
For fiscal invoices: RB-Posl1-1
Theoretically, you can have multiple invoice number sequences for both transaction and fiscal invoices in FIRA,
but this requires careful attention and control.
When creating a new invoice, FIRA checks the highest sequential number and suggests the next number.
Example:
If you have 2 different number sequences for transaction invoices and the last two invoices are:
55-1-1 and
44-2-1,
then FIRA will suggest 56-1-1 as the next number.
If you want to issue invoice 45-2-1, you will need to adjust it manually when creating the invoice.
